21 Decembre 1902 Nord Alexis overprint essay

Below are the nine stamps that are known so far to have been hand stamped with the overprint of Nord Alexis. Image of the 3c of the 1898 coat of arms watermark issue will be added soon.

  • 1898 watermark issue: two copies are known of the 1c, 2c, 3c, and three copies are known of the 5c green.

      Actually 2 copies of all are known except the 5c.
      Four copies are known of the 5c – 2 in the US, 1 in England, and 1 in France.

      Yes, there are others: 5 Centimes Weapon and 20 Centimes Simon Sam.
