The departure cancel from Port-au-Prince indicates a date of July 3rd, 1925, which was a Friday. Did this envelope not make the cut-off time on the 3rd, in order to be on the Saturday 4th flight? Were the American pilots celebrating US Independence Day causing there to be no flight that day?
The cover has an arrival Cap Haitian date of July 7th, which would be the first weekly flight of the week.
